Description
Blast is an attack/defense multiplayer map for Valveās Team Fortress 2 set in an abandoned blast furnace. This design uses a mechanic from a popular TF2 map, Steel, where the final winning control point is available from the beginning of the round but is difficult to reach until earlier control points are captured. Every successful control point capture changes the map dynamically to make the final point easier to access. Steel is an incredible map but I felt it didn't visually explain the layout very effectively so my main goal with Blast was to use the theme to express the overall layout concept to players in a more obvious way.
